Two people, had a dream. a dream of restoring dead people back to life, including urban legends, even accelerating age process of humans as a seed. That was their dream. their first subject. Dr starless, was the first one to be made.

and thats how, 復旧。株 (japanese for restoration corp.) was created, founded by one american, one japanese. the company however is highly international. although their main priority is to bring urban legends back from the dead and make new humans to the peak of the human body. and this is where our protag, our first creation comes in. dr starless.

Chapter 0: The dream of human peakness.

The sounds of bubbling, inside of a test tube was loud, and starless's mother. yuki, was in the lab.

ScienctistA: "Are you sure you want to do this with ur child yuki?, we *are* gonna use this one for weaponry. then later "discarded" if hes a fail subject. hes a GEN-1. so it might be faulty.

Yuki hesitated, as she did would like a child. but she also was interested in the project so she could revive her dead brother from it. but she later realized her dreams of a child wouldnt happen as she was sure they were gonna kill him. But she edned up giving the jar of sperm to the scienctists.

Later after doing that, the scientists had put her sperm inside of the restoration/revival chamber they waited 10 seconds. then suddenly a instant person the size of a 12 year old body. was born, except....he had no skin...only a skeleton, but his body had quickly adapted to the loss of skin. so his bones are hardened, and the "holes" covered themseleves up and was hardened so no one could poke his organs easily, it would take about 15 hammer hits to hurt him, and weirdly he has a blood flow considering he has a heart pumping blood.i guess thats what they mean by faultly.

scientist B: "Holy shit!, it r-really worked!, IT ACTUALLY WORKED!.

later the water was drained, and he was taken out of the tube. he was still unconcious for now, Which was good!, they gave him techwear inspired clothes, with a hood and mask to cover his skeleton. they didnt know what to name him though, but thats when starless said his first words. ironically enough though.

Starless: "Where...did the stars go? it feels starless in here.

Yuki amazed at her child regardless of having no skin or flesh. she had quickly explained that she is her mother And starless reclaims thats where he saw the stars. so in the womb. he remebers seeing stars. so they had gotten up going for a "victory" dinner. but an scientist had hurted himself. worried, but not to worried. although interestingly. starless had went to the scientist and ended up...healing him with just his hands!, he had gotten healing powers from it!

Yuki: did you just....heal him..?

the scienntists had looked at eachother smugly and went to the dressing room to stitch, "Dr.starless" on the back of his jacket. he was going to be used as an combat medic for soliders, although since hes faulty. they will have to kill him soon. but not now or later. for now their enjoying the moment. althoughthey found starless playing with toys like a ..baby?, they went back to the comptuers, and realized even with his body size. his brain didnt grow to much, having the mind of a 6 year old. so heneeds alot of teaching, although its stated he has a "lanuage adapting ability" so learning lanugages isnt needed. but his brain only grew that far so he'll remember everything from birth. although he doesnt know why he was made. so the scitensts offered yuki money if she and her daughters were to teach him. she was gonna do it regardless, but the money helped, which made yuki take starless. her son. back home to her house so he can meet his two sisters.

Chapter 0 end.

Pre-chapter 1: The starting of a new dr in town.

As yuki, his mother walked the little star into his new hoome in his home town Turs Ble. he met his 3 sisters, Iwha, Artemis, and finally. Tsuyosa. The little dr was...pretty confused as he didnt know how to speak often much rather he did learn english just by listening. hes still pretty shy about things as he HAD. just been born and he has to learn alot of new things with a already developed brain. His eyes looked towards an newspaper, it was photos of fries!, which would have indeed became his favorite food. following months later. starless has learn to speak better. he learned to like things, and now after 3 months his skin and musucles grew into his body. although hes still covered up. regardless, he has 3 more months left to live as the people in the lab said "hes faulty" working as a combat medic. theirs rumors that the dr took his skelton mouth and chewed on his patients. which would make him carnivorous and hungry for human blood and flesh. although rumors. this is stated to be a fact as for now. Regardless starless had NO knowledge that his life is going to be snuffed out, and he hasnt shown signs of any pschopathical behavior. though one day. he went to his mom yuki. and asked may he go to an acamedy "Sky acamedy" an acamedy located in the skies somehow, rumors say angels made it. who knows? he doesnt!, but he wants to go to a school area to get friends and learn about humans, although the scientist had told yuki "No not make him interact with others as he will copy others and possibly fall to the wrong hands, triggering a psychotic breakdown, even making him questioning his existence." That they were right, because they didnt wanna look bad as their company was thriving off reviving dead people. like mozart for example, and popular japanese urban legends healed to live a normal life they couldnt before. so they didnt want starless. the face of the company to tell the truth. although yuki was told not to bring starless to an school-like zone, she ignored their requests and she accepted him going to sky acamedy and later-on he was dropped off with kind regards from his sisters. since the acamedy has an dorm. he can live there as they will sent him money to fend for himself. he stepped into the door. and took a sharp breath.

Starless: "So...is this where a new chapter of my life begins?"

Chapter 1: The sky acamedy.

Starless looked at the sky academy in awe, he couldnt believe what he saw, it was like he was heaven!, but he was just in the air. its crazy how far has engineering came along in 20XX, but nevertheless, he went into the acamedy for the first time and the first step was like an magical burst waved through him. he was in awe at the diversity of diffrerent people so since his mom signed him up prior before entering, he already had a locker and an dorm though he needed to ask someone. and thats when he saw a girl, an girl named "Rika" so he approached her.

Star: "Hey miss, do you know the directions here?" He had said calmly. The girl looked up him and down being bored of his presence?

Rika: "Is that how u start a first impression? The simple movie disney movie type shit?, jeez. your dryer than the Sahara desert."

Star: "EXCUSE MEEE??, who do you think ur talking to!-" then it clicked him.

Rika: "You heard me, now run along. or are u too dried up? "

Star: "Yeah you dried me up you Atacama. geeeez...how many grains of dry sand do u need?"

Rika: "...?"

Rika: "Your dorm is to the right, but dont dry up the place yeah?

Star: "Yeah yeah," he had walked away. "Asshole."

Asshole she appeared to be, but what he didnt know shed be the same person to be his only friend, and the only one to stand for himself.

Starless walked to his dorm, it had a letter in it. he opened it and it had the following words: "Names rika, thats all youll get." he figured he passed her "test", regardless, he sat down on his bed amazed that he even came into the academy, although the sad part...h had about 3 months to live before the sciencists will kill him. though him going to a school-like place is dangerous enough..what if he falls into the wrong hands!?, that......he did.. but...it was rika.

3 days after.

It was worser, group of people who...do drugs and other criminal activity that he shouldnt be introduced, he doesnt have the concept of "death" even.

Though ur probably wondering what happened to transpire this?, what about rika? well...rika became "not bored of him" though what rika toldhim on the same day he approached the group of people was shocking to him. he couldnt do anything but get sad at it.

2 days eariler.

Starless had woken up out his dorm room, getting ready to start his second day. all he d did in the first day was sleep, eat and do his classes. but this time he decided to hit up rika. considering its the only personhes spoken too...everyone else treats him....well...you will see. You see starless isa "sweet" guy, and people like to take advantage or bully him for it.

Starless going to the lockers, saw rika by his lockers, by pure Coincidencetheir lockers were near.

Star: "Rika was it?"

Rika "Yeah. thats the name, you figured it out hooray. do u want a cookie?"

Star: "Wait do u really have a cookie??"

Rika: "Its not-, i dont- do u really not know expressions? how dumb could you be?"

Star: "Ah sorry..im just not used to..talking to people or life in general so i dont know much.. im sorry."

Rika: "Yeah u should be sorry."

Though rika thought he was putting on a character. he genuinely didnt know. she finds that out quick.

After exiting math and lunch was in, starless was walking and he was approached by people.

Starless: "Oh hello! may i help you?"

People: "Hey, ur new right?

Star: "i am, but why?

People: "Do u wanna know how to be cool? make people like ya?"

Rika was in the background, not wanting to listen but humans have ears after all.

Star: "Oh of course!, id love to learn how to be cool!"

People: "Well, u gotta learn how to fight people, like anyone"

Star: "Why would i ever wanna do that? wouldnt that disturb the peace?, i dont personally believe we shouldnt do a violent activity."

People: "Oh so ur one of those goody two shoes people huh?"

Star: "I- wha? goody two sho-"

One of the people had picked him up.

People: "Listen here in our group if u wanna join us. you gotta learn how to gain a backbone and how to hurt people, and do crime activity.

People: "Come on lets take him."

Star: "Ay wait!-"

everyone had heard what was going on, but didnt bat an eye. including rika. she didnt feel bad at all actually. not even pity. Its none of her problem.

Interestingly, tomorrow they seemed to be cool with starless? although due to rika with her high smarts. she instantly knew it was fishy. she saw starless mask bloody at times, and him sucking up to them and doing whatever they please.

fast fowarding where we left off.

There starless was. Behind the schoolwith the same group, he was holding drugs, and giving it to them it was like he was their bussboy.

Star: "Am i.....cool now?"

People: "Not yet, first u gotta learn to kill."

Star: Again im not gonna hurt them!, well its not like they can go away forever/ everyone lives forever so youll just be in jail for the rest of ur life no?

People: "Are you talking about death?"

Star: "Death...?"

People: Kid.. do u not know the concept of death? Killing is when u end someones life permantly.

Star: "wha-? I WOULD NEVER DO SOMETHING LIKE THAT EVER!, s-surely theres another way for me to be cool?-"

Rika overhearing everything. was getting an teensy bit concerned.

People: "Actually yeah there is.

The people had pulled out knifes, as starless backed up in fear. he never knew the concept of death, but nowhe does. he was pleading for his life.

Then rika, hearing it finding something she wouldnt be bored of she stepped in.

Rika: "hey dickheads."

People: "Oh hey its rika!, rikkaaa!! look were about to kill this guy, wanna help? itd be something non boring!

Rika: "Sure thing. id love to kill him by my hands."

Rika had ended a call, she had her phone behind her back, she was stalling time for the police to come.

Rika took a knife and approached starless and looked towards the leader of the group

Rika: "By the way, say hi to the camera when ur in that place yeah?"

Leader: "What are u talking about?"

Rika snapped her fingers as if it was on que, then the police came rushing in and arrested them.

Leader: "What the hell!, i thought u said u wanted to kill him!?

Rika: "i Didnt specifically said id kill him, or how id do it. But luckily...the prison will do it for me, enjoy ur sentence.

Leader: "What are you!?, his friend!? his savior or something?

Rika looked at starless and said something quite cheesy.

Rika: "I guess u can say hes a making of an friend."

Those words had made starless sad, but of joy! he couldnt believe it. he wanted to cry when he heard the words "friend" and then the people were taken away. then starless looked towards rika

Star: "Thank you so much!, you saved my...my..."

Rika: "Life?, yeah i know. And besides...ur desert is getting moisturing these days. but just know...i DID...save your life so ur gonna have to owe me back~

Star: "Of course ill owe you back!, just you wait! do u want money? maybe a place to eat even?

Rika: "No thanks, and actually ill take you out. im gonna pay the bill."

Star: "No!, ill pay!"

Rika had insited that she was rich, and she can pay. but starless still didnt care *he* wanted to pay the bill, then it made rika gasp.

Rika: "Your willing to argue over a bill over a rich person...?"

Star: "Of course!, i would wanna pay no matter what!

Rika had tooken stars hand and started to walk towards a restaurant she knows.

Star: "Eh!? where are we going?"

Rika: "To eat, you satisfied me."

Star: "Satisfied you how...?

Rika turned towards starless.

Rika: "Like ive said to someone."

Rika: "How will i know your not in it for the money Hm?, you cant even argue a bill with me. Pathetic."

Star: "I dont understand?-"

Rika: "You argued the bill before we even eaten. And still did knowing im rich. Your genuine. i like that~"

Starless had gasped and then smiled under the mask.

Chapter 1: end.

Chapter 2: Care to split the bill? (short)

While rika and starless were walking, starless had looked at rika.

Rika: "What is it?, am i so beautiful that you must stop?, flattered really. but i already knew that."

Starless: "Actually....i was going to tell you i was having dreams..vivid ones lately, do you know someone named nyotaisten?

Rika: "Nah, i dont know much people in this country anyways, why? Are they important?" she said with an curious expression.

Starless: "No...i dont think so?, ill call my mom to see if she knows." With that he called his mom.

Yuki: "Moshi? moshi?"

Starless: "Hey mom, question do you know someone named nyotaisten?"

Yuki had gasped on the phone, lying to him saying she didnt, but she quickly called up the scientists who had made him.

Rika: "Hey, hey starboy. Get out the clouds, we have arrived.

Starless had looked up at the restaurant rika took him at, it looked amazing.

Rika: "Well?, gonna go in?-" Rika was quickly cut off by starless hugging her for the treat

Rika: "Chill out....if you pass my test...you'll be eating out like this for a longgg time~"

Starless: "Wait really?, do you mean that?"

Rika: "I dont know. Do i?

With that..rika entered the restaurant and starless followed behind her, after 30 minutes of eating, rika was curious about starless, he seemed too...innocent minded?, too naive? he was kinda like the dumb manga girl if you will.

Rika: "Ey....starboy...i have a question"

Starless: "yes rika?" He said while devouring many sushi.

Rika: "Why do u act the way you act...?, like...you seem so...naive, do you genuinely not know these things? or is this all an act to gain sad points for attention?"

Starless: "What?, why would i be faking!?, i genuinely do not know many things....nor understand alot, like hell i dont even know what hell means.

Rika had thought about something in her head. "Maybe when hes done eating ill try to pay. Usually people putting up a character would let me pay." she said in her mind.

Rika: "Okay...i see then."

After a while, starless had FINALLY finished eating

Rika looked at the empty plate difference in awe, is he alright at home?

Starless: "HA!, Starless 30,rika 2."

The waiter had came then rika immediately opened her wallet to pay but then...

Starless: "Oh im actually paying waiter!"

Rika: "What?, no your not. the bill is like 200$..." Rika looked at the waiter "Waiter i am paying.

Starless: "No!, i am paying the bill and thats final!"

And thats when it clicked for rika, he is actually arguing over a bill with her, 200$ is literally nothing for her, but he still insists. He is genuine.

Rika: "No i am paying, stop trying to be the big guy."

Starless gave rika an competitive stare, and rika gave an smug stare and smile back.

They proceeded to argue over the bill for 3 hours...before starless got tired. and eventually rika won.

Rika: "It appears i have won starboy."

Starless was looking down, making sounds as if he was going to cry

Rika: "hey...-, are you crying-? its just a bill its really noth-"

Starless was actually making snickering noises before bursting out in laughter.

Starless: "BWAHAHAHA, RIKA YOU ARE SO COOL!"

Rika: "EH?-"

Starless: "Never in my life ive ever did that!, your so marvelous rika!

Rika: "Yeah, yeah. I guess as a daughter of a rich dad, of course im marvelous~

While she does think that. (probably) She was actually moved by the things starless was saying

Rika: "Hey starboy, do u wanna do a sleepover at my place?

Starless gasped and then smiled (under the mask of course) brightly, it was gonna be his first sleep ovah.

Rika: "Ill take that as a yes!"

Chapter 2 end.

Chapter 3: nyotaisten. BUT ALSO SLEEPOVER!!!

Rika took starless to her home, she calls it "palace mansion" shewasnt exaggerating, it was huge.

Starless: "Holy fucking shit!, thats a huge ass house!"

Rika: "STARBOY-!, where did u learn those vulgar words?"

Starless: "The people at school?"

Rika: "Dont pick up on their actions, people at the academy are merely cretins."

Starless: "Dont you swear to!?"

Rika: "At least i sound elegant when i swear.

As rika said that she took starless inside the palace, it was so huge. hide and seek in their would last 50 hours. if that.

Starless: "Your house is so huge rika!"

Rika: "Yes i know, after all i live here~"

Starless: "If you live here....wheres ur dad?"

Rika: "Uhm...err, lets go to my room shall we?"

Starless: "Oh yes!, i cannot wait to see what ur room looks like!

Rika had took starless to her room, it looked quite modern, with modern decor..Modern king size bed and a noticable vanity, but that isnt important.

of course starless looked shocked.

Starless: "WOAH!, your room is like...really huge!"

Rika: "What more are you going to say?, big? awesome? sick? excellent?, yeah i know~, ive heard it allll~"

Starless looked around her room, and layed on her bed and rika layed down and quickly both of them got up and said at the same time:

Star&Rika: "YOU REEK!-" then they both paused.

Rika: "Welll,, ladies first so. IM going to take a shower. do not snoop around my things.

As starless was told to do he sat down and listened to rika, or so we thought. he ended up going to her vanity and finding her makeup

Rika came out wearing her silk robe.

Rika: "Hey starboy its your tur- DIDNT I TELL U TO NOT SNOOP AROUND??"

Starless: "Sorry!, i just got so...curious you know? and besides, thanks to my sisters. i know how to do make up!"

Rika: "Your not doing my makeup."

Starless: "Ill let you do anything ya want?"

Rika: "...anything?"

Rika: "Can i braid your hair?

Starless: "Errr- yeah no...nevermind forget about it-"

Rika: "Come onnnnn!, whyyy? is ur hair messy or something?

Starless: "No its nothing like that....its-"

Rika ignoring him took of his mask, and then seeing his skeleton, Starless had explained why is he like that.

Starless: "Youd probably dont wanna see a freak like me, so ill go."

Rika: "Starboy."

Starless: "What is it?"

Rika: "Your still normal to me, you dont need to leave.

Starless: "But arent i non-human? itd be weird to have me as ur friend no?

Rika: "You still got your heart dont you? that makes u human like all of us, and your not just normal. your my friend.

Starless: "i...err-"

Rika: Well anyways, dont its time its your turn to clean ur...skeleton?

Starless nodded at her, and took a shower and came out in one of her silk robes, he sat on her bed and rika had gotten up

Rika: "Hold on, ima get us some snacks to eat. what do u favor?"

Starless: "Fries if u have any." With that rika had left.

Starless snooped around and found a interesting....newspaper under her bed.

LOCAL RICH RUSSIAN MAN KILLS HIS WIFE! POLICE ARE INVESTIGATING.

Starless: "Interesting...maybe shes into crime stuff?" he had put away the newspaper as rika came in and then sat with him

Rika: "I got the snacks and fries...do you like fries starbo-

Her dad had appeared suddenly,

"Hey heres my favorite DAUGHTER???" he said with his russian accent as he entered her room and saw them both on the bed.

Starless had looked at him with fear in his eyes, then his phone call sound started to play. It played his favorite song.

"There lived a certian man, In russia long ago."

"He was big and strong, his eyes were flaming glow."

Starless looked at him with more fear as he stared back.

"Most people looked at him with terror and fear."

"KILLS WIFE." -newspaper

"But to moscow chicks he was a such a lovely dear."

The call ended, rika butt dialed him.

Rika: "Dad??-"

Rikas dad: "Who. The. Hell. IS. HE??!?!?! IS THAT A DEMON??? GET AWAY FROM MY DAUGHTER YOU UNHOLU CREATURE!"

Rika: "Excuse me??-, did you just callmy friend a demon?"

Rika's dad: "THATS UR FRIEND?!?!?!, SORRY. THATS NO FRIENDS OF YOURS. HES GETTING THE HELL OUT!"

Rika looked angry at her dad. before eventually. starless was kicked out with brute force. and forced to walk 5 miles away. in the cold night.

Rika's dad: "Im dissapointd in you daughter. a guy like him? really?, that is not a friend."

Rika: "You dont know how he is. Hes more of a man than u ever were. you kicked out my only friend in *my* house."

Rika's dad: "YOUR HOUSE!?!!??!"

They kept going on and on. moving on to starless, who eventually bought a hotel and went to slept in it feeling empty. hollow.

He had a dream...about that nyotaisten guy.

Starless: "Who even are you?"

Nyotaisten: "I saw what happened star, allow me to teach you about people?

Starless: "Go on..."

Nyotaisten: "If its something i know about people...they are dark and deceitful."

He got closer to starless.

nyotaisten: "And when back to a corner they can get lethal."

Nyotaisten: "Do you know the emotion your feeling starless?, its called hatred, he called you a demon and disrespected you in front of ur only friend. Dont you want "revenge"?

Starless: "What is...revenge..?"

Nyotaisten had smiled deceitfully. "Ill show you."

Nyotaisten had shown starless of how he was created in the lab, using the brain of nyotaisten, and the sperm of starless. and combined they are one.

Starless: "i...-"

This had made starless question his existence, making him angry at the fact he was made to be killed later.

Nyotaisten: "Is that hatred emotion building?, now do u feel like you want to do something about it in ur own hands? its called "revengeful."

Nyotaisten: "Lend me ur body, and we can get started."

Starless had lended him his body, and they both had gone to the labs where starless was created.

The scientists and yuki looked at starless with a shocked expression, and notice his appearnced was different and so was his voice.

Scientist 1: "it cant be..."

Nyotaisten: "You made a mistake for pitying for weak scientists, you think iwouldnt come back?, how dumb for you to think such a thing.

scientist 2:"I told you it was a bad idea to give him nyotas brain!"

Nyotaisten: "You know, i had a brother who couldnt compete, so my father gave him a power to get him on his feet. Buthe had sucha power...it was elite...so i took it from him, and now...i grow stronger with every person i eat. you know what this means right?

Scientists: "You dont gotta do this....nyota..."

Nyotaisten: "You know you taught me a lesson that i, nyota. could be beat. but now i will bring death for the 3 of you.

Scientist 1: "But how are you out!?, we made it sure so you wouldnt be able to come out,,,while only keeping the good quailtys of who you are!"

nyotaisten: "When you had sealed me away in starless brain, i was patiently stacking up my power. And now you created a body with the darkest of perks."

yuki: "But arent you suppsoed to be dead!?, i thought he- they..locked you away"

Nyotaisten: "You thought i was dead?, locked away?, HA!, funny."

Nyota walked closer to them

"But now...it is time i have returned."

Nyotaisten: "Your starless is mine, the starless you all knew?"

Nyotaisten: "Is now gone."

Nyotaisten: "But now, this is the end. And i will make sure you all die in fear."

Not moments later, he exited the lab throwing away a bone, behind him was the mutilated remains ofyuki his mom, and the 2 scientists. He had eaten them, with each person he eats. he gains their knowledge. and any sort of body strentgh. that is nyotaisten. He gains off whatever he eats.

Nyotaisten: "5 left."

Chapter 3: END.

Author`s Note: The plot seems confusing/bad for this chapter at the near end, i was tired. but dont worry ill make it better next chapter
